Maryann is a strong Christian counselor who has advanced training in trauma, EMDR, grief therapy, and internal family systems and is board certified in neurofeedback. She was a Campus minister for over twenty years, where she had the opportunity to support and encourage students. Some of the colleges she worked at include Cornell University, the University of New York at Buffalo, and the College of William & Mary. Maryann has a Masters of Arts in professional counseling from Liberty University and believes that everything she says and does is an overflow of Christ being the center of her life.
Maryann also has special training in functional medicine for mental health and loves to work holistically helping clients make the next positive step towards optimizing health in all dimensions--body, mind, and spirit.

Maryann lost her first husband of 17 years to sudden death. She has since remarried and has a beautifully blended family including 6 children. The children refer to themselves as the Brady Bunch. She enjoys nurturing her family, learning, running, quality time with friends, and world travel.
